Heaven

God sleeps most of the time so that he can hear prayers and handle them easier. Metatron speaks to him directly most of the time, though the Archangels can as well, but generally the four Archangels handle things themselves.
God can give orders that must be obeyed but rarely does; he's only done it three times.
Generally the four Archangels discuss things between themselves and then put them into action. They'll also team up to fight larger threats.

Personality

Uriel talks very formally.
He's very refined. He has very good manners and holds himself with great decorum. An angel should always look graceful, even when they're terrorizing the hell out of someone - and don't give him that crap about the flaming wheels and other more nightmarish angels not being able to be graceful, they can be very graceful!
He's very caring and protective towards Vanyel and his mother. He adores them deeply. If they get sick or anything like that he'll take him out to care for them, and he helps out as much as he can.
He doesn't tend to verbally show affection but he's very physical with those he loves.
He tends to be quite wise and does his best to instill wisdom in those under his care.
He has a strong desire to bring down retribution on those who are causing harm in the name of God, or bringing suffering to others. He's very much ruthless as well as wise. He won't give any warning to people who've already caused trouble, he'll simply go up against them without hesitation.
Uriel can be immensely blunt. He believes honesty is one of the best virtues and holds himself to a standard of never lying.
Though he can be strict, he's not domineering or cruel, and he does his best to understand why people do things and respond appropriately. However, this does mean that he can hold people to standards that are sometimes unfeasible and have to be dissuaded from those views.
He taught Vanyel everything he was able to teach him and made sure he had teachers for what he couldn't.
He tends to argue with Vanyel over things but they never have lasting consequences.
He's got a good sense of time. Generally he tries to time things such as cooking so that it'll be ready precisely when he thinks it'll be most needed.
He's very kind. He considers it his duty to help those who need it,
He's a very active person. He dislikes it when people slack off too much and can't really stand to do it himself.
Preparation is important; he doesn't approve of just charging in without thinking of what's needed and how to handle things. If it has to happen, it has to happen, but he prefers to have everything he needs to hand.

Lifestyle

His hobbies include reading, cooking, painting and sculpting. He doesn't dedicate a lot of time to them, being a busy man, but he enjoys them a lot. He can be a perfectionist with his own work however. He has a special fondness for poetry, though he shuns things written solely to sound impressive.
He spends a decent amount of time each day training.
